The service

AskCarl provides AI-assisted vehicle screening and decision support to help UK used-car buyers make more informed purchasing decisions. The service is available at askcarl.co.uk, with an optional Telegram interface for eligible account features.

What AskCarl is not

AskCarl is a vehicle-screening and decision-support tool, not a guarantee. Its Quick Screens and Buyer Checks use available advert information, official MOT evidence, source-backed vehicle knowledge and asking-price data. AskCarl is not a regulated financial adviser, provenance-check provider, vehicle inspection service or insurer. Always complete your own due diligence, including a physical inspection and independent history check.

Pricing and billing

• Your first 3 Quick Screens are free with no credit card required
• After your free screens, a one-off payment of £12.99 opens Active Search for 30 days, with a fair-use allowance of up to 30 new Quick Screens in any rolling 24 hours
• When offered for a selected car, a one-off £4.99 payment opens its Buyer Check and updated recommendations for 7 days; it does not add screens for other cars
• Paid evidence updates, seller-reply, viewing and offer assistance are subject to a fair-use allowance of up to 60 requests in any rolling 24 hours
• If a marketplace blocks AskCarl before a screen is produced, that attempt does not use one of your 3 free Quick Screens
• This is not a subscription — there are no recurring charges and nothing to cancel
• If you buy another pass before yours expires, the new 30 days are added to your existing expiry — you never lose days you've already paid for
• Payment is processed by Stripe
• If you're not happy within 14 days of buying either a £4.99 Buyer Check or a £12.99 Active Search pass, email hello@askcarl.co.uk and we'll refund that purchase in full — no questions asked

Acceptable use

You may use AskCarl for personal, non-commercial car buying decisions. You may not:

• Resell or redistribute AskCarl Quick Screens or Buyer Checks commercially
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Use the service to harass or deceive sellers

Limitation of liability

AskCarl is provided “as is”. We are not liable for any financial loss arising from decisions made based on its Quick Screens, Buyer Checks or guidance. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days prior to any claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email before any material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
